Gwangju announced on the 4th that it has recruited midfielder Park Tae-joon (24), who has been active in Seongnam FC and FC Anyang.

In his seventh year as a pro, Park has a slim physique of 175 centimeters/74 kilograms and is a central midfielder with good passing capability and ball possession. Park stands out for his energetic play and is versatile enough to play on the side.

Park Tae-joon, a native of Seongnam U-18 Pungsaeng High School in 2018, who was called up to Seongnam FC through the selection of a rookie player, was recognized for his possibility by scoring one goal in 22 games in his first professional year. In the same year, he was called up to the U-20 national team for the first time and played consistently, and he recorded three games at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup the following year.

In the second half of 2021, he was loaned to FC Anyang to help the team reach the promotion playoffs, recording six assists in 20 games, and in 2022, he was loaned to Seoul E-Land to record one assist in 12 games.
